Emili Armengol i Gall he born in Terrassa on May 7, and he died in  1911 ​​July 17 in Barcelona , 1976.1 He was a jeweler, goldsmith and Catalan painter, father of the sculptor Emili Armengol i Abril. He studied art at the School of Arts and Crafts of Terrassa. In 1931, at age 20, he made his first exhibition in Terrassa in the Sala Saba Sabater (1929) and in 1931 in the Badrinas Gallery between 17 and 21 of November. Joan Merlí organized a collective exhibition in 1932 in which he was invited to participate together with Opisso.
